Getting dressed is hard. It’s even harder when you have a feral toddler running around and need to be functional but also want to be cute. See below for my four outfit formulas that help me get dressed every day!
Is she wearing pajamas? The oversized tee or sweater and comfy pant - this outfit formula is my go to in the spring/summer. I like the length of the top to hit just below my hips. Avoid tops if they hit right at your hip because that will accentuate the widest part of your body and isn’t as flattering. Throw on a barn jacket or blazer in the colder months.

No Pants - An oversized button up and boxer short will always scratch the ‘big top little bottoms’ itch for me. Avoid super bulky shorts as it will create bunching. Try adding a fun shoe like a mesh flat to make this look more interesting!

Tonal - white on white may seem a little farfetched if you have a crazy toddler running around but I like to live life on the edge ;) All black will forever be a classic. Such an easy way to get dressed.

Not all the way tomboy - if you’re like me and love a cutesy mini dress but also want to be functional, try dressing down a feminine dress or skirt by adding sneakers to the mix. You could also do a comfy sandal or loafer if that’s more your style. Lastly, a cap!
